Rectangular splines are predominantly of the six-lobe type.
This spline configuration offers superior performance compared with a single-lobe design,
as it can withstand greater torsional loads and facilitates the installation of various screw components onto the mandrel.
The mandrel is also manufactured from forged 40CrNiMoA alloy structural steel.
