Positive shear element

所属分类: Cut component

Positive shear elements are classified according to their stagger angle: 30°, 45°, and 60°. As the stagger angle increases, the material-conveying capacity gradually decreases, while the dispersing and blending capability progressively improves. Positive shear elements are also classified according to the thickness of the shear disc: narrow, standard, and wide. As the thickness increases, the shearing capability for the material gradually enhances, whereas the dispersing and blending capability gradually diminishes.

Technical Details of the Positive Shear Element

Model: Φ18 mm ~ Φ400 mm

Material: WR5 / WR7 / WR13 / Nickel-based alloy

Performance: Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant

WR5: The carbides in WR5 are predominantly fine, uniformly dispersed spherical vanadium carbides, with a suitable amount of chromium carbide as a secondary phase. This microstructure delivers excellent wear resistance, superior impact performance, and outstanding spalling resistance, resulting in a service life approximately three times that of 6542 steel.

WR7: The carbides in WR7 are predominantly fine, uniformly dispersed spherical vanadium and chromium carbides, with a high carbide content that delivers the best overall wear and corrosion resistance, making it a high-end replacement for WR5.

WR13: Combines wear resistance and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for the battery slurry industry.

Nickel-based alloys: exhibit excellent wear and corrosion resistance.

Positive Shear Element Function

• Forward material conveyance

• Plasticized material

• Moderate shear force (related to the stagger angle and the thickness of the shear disc)
